At WENlight Fiber Optic Services, we specialize in designing the most efficient way to install and route your network cabling. Whether you have an existing cabling infrastructure and want to upgrade or if it is a new Cat5, 5e, 6, etc. installation, let us put our expert knowledge to work for you.
INTELLIGENT TRANSPORTATION SYSTEMS
At WENlight Fiber Optic Services, we can bring our expertise in the ITS industry in an effort to work side by side with the client. Our approach is to be on board a project from its initial design phase along through installation. We can also offer support to upgrade an existing ITS system. We have industry knowledge of various cameras, traffic signal timing systems, wireless applications, dynamic message boards, and various transmission protocols.

What We Do
WENlight Fiber Optic Services, LLC is a full service fiber optic and data cabling company. The company is owned and operated by Wendell Harris. It was established with general contracting and sub-contracting capabilities.
WENlight Fiber Optic Services, LLC has been certified as a Disadvantage Business Enterprise (DBE) in six states with their respective Departments of Transportation (DOT), along with various airports, counties, and city municipalities.
We recognize the importance of doing professional and reliable service and maintaining a safe and professional work rapport with all of our clients. Our clients are the driving force to make us a better company and that is why we meet or exceed all national safety guidelines and insurance requirements.
Although based out of the Birmingham metro area we service all of the Southeastern United States
Meet The Owner
Wendell is a veteran of the US Navy who served in the Gulf War in the early 1990’s. While serving in the Navy, he gained expert knowledge in the communications/electronics industry. Wendell has over 25 years of experience in the communications industry with the last sixteen years spent extensively in the fiber and data communications cabling industry. Wendell holds numerous certifications and industry affiliations which include Certified Fiber Optics Technician (CFOT) -Electronics Technician Association, and Intelligent Transportation Systems Specialist - University of Maryland, Consortium for ITS Training and Education.
